Quick Update on Edgewood Ecovillage

Recently there was an announcement that Edgewood Ecovillage had limitations imposed by the land survey, so the Board decided to move the construction to some land in Yarmouth; however, the funders said they would not pay for a second survey so the consultant (FMV) had to reroute the funding requests back towards building the this ages-50+ sustainable affordable housing community in West Pubnico. This is fine, as the land is already there and all past plans were set for that, so basically it is just a “pick up where we left off” default.

There are future talks being considered amongst the members and stakeholder(s) (FMV) with the town of Yarmouth about another possible intentional community being built in the area, but time will tell.
