We currently have two ecovillage projects happening in Nova Scotia…
Edgewood Ecovillage
Thanks to FMV’s dedication to Edgewood and its full interim board (4 people) this ecovillage project has been gaining funds in Forming, Capacity Building, and Planning grant areas since its inception on May 24, 2022. The goal is sustainable affordable housing for ages 50+ on the south shore of Yarmouth county. See more…
Upcoming Village
The PIC (pagan intentional community) board members have been organizing themselves as of October, 2024 and is presently fundraising in order to cover incorporation fees. The name of the cooperative will be announced at the time of incorporating as the board moves from “temporary” to “interim” status. Land is being sought anywhere within about 90 minutes of Halifax.
